Abstract

The Article presentsthe analysis ofthe peculiarities ofthe manifestation ofthe indefinite article of grammar category in the Eastern Armenian. In the literary Eastern Armenian it is expressed by the zero ending and by the indefinite article «?». Studies have shown that word «?» has different meanings and it can be used as an indefinite article, as numeral, as denial of the imperative. The indefinite article can become the most important way to crate artistic images.
